Following the devastating impact of the Ditwah Cyclone, which affected numerous families in the Nikaweratiya region, Citizens Credit Investment (Pvt) Ltd proudly launched a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Disaster Relief Programme on 04 December 2025. This humanitarian initiative was undertaken to provide immediate assistance to vulnerable families whose lives were severely disrupted by the disaster.
Recognizing the urgent need for food and essential household supplies, our dedicated team worked together to organize, prepare, and distribute relief packages containing vital daily necessities. Through this initiative, we aimed to ease the burden faced by affected families while offering hope and reassurance during a difficult period.
Delivering Essential Relief
Natural disasters can leave communities struggling to meet even their most basic needs. Understanding this reality, Citizens Credit Investment (Pvt) Ltd carefully prepared and distributed essential dry ration packs to support families as they began rebuilding their lives.
Each relief package contained carefully selected food items and household essentials, including:
- Premium quality rice
- Sugar
- Dhal
- Flour
- Milk powder
- Tea
- Biscuits
- Dry food items
- Other essential grocery supplies
These donations were intended to provide immediate nutritional support while helping families regain stability during the recovery process.
